Internet Shaftiness

So from the afternoon of the 4th until the evening of the 13th, we had no internet. As we were approaching finals and finishing papers and projects, this was no good. In fact, it was terrible. At first, we thought maybe it was just us like it had been at the beginning of the school year. However, we talked to some of our friends and none of them had internet either. As it turns out, our complex had changed some of the network connection settings and hadn't informed those of us who have been living here for awhile. Bah! Fortunately for us, when I was on campus checking my facebook I saw that one of our friends in our complex had been able to fix their internet. With the help of the husband, we were able to recover internet usage. Huzzah! Then we had another scare on the 15th when it went out again for at least an hour. Thank goodness everything seems to be working at the moment. Sad to think how dependent on the internet we are now; so it was nice to not waste so much time surfing the web.
