Love Day

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't written much in the last little while. We haven't really been up to much worth updating the world about, but we're doing well. Kairi did get fixed last week (poor baby) and she's healing well. We also got her a cat tree from Costco that she seems to love. Devin finished another class and still maintains A's and B's so far and is always working hard and studying more. Babysitting is going pretty well and teaching at Church is...interesting...but I persevere!

As yesterday was Valentine's Day, we actually did something worth writing about! Yay! We went out to brunch at Wildberry's and enjoyed some awesome breakfast food. They only serve breakfast and lunch and have a great variety of omlettes, crepes, pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc. We both got Venetian skillets; which were basically hash browns, cheese, 2 eggs how you like them, sausage, bell peppers, and onions all cooked up and melted together. Yummy! Then Devin had to study and I had work. But later, we were able to celebrate some more.

We got dinner at Portillo's (a must try for this area) and then helped clean the church. On the way home to study we stopped by Target and took turns buying each other gifts. Hooray for chocolate and candy!

Not the most exciting of days, but it was nice to take time to enjoy each others company and celebrate our marriage and our friendship. And of course good food and chocolate are always reason to rejoice :) I hope you all had a wonderful day and were able to do something special!
