Devin and Molly go to Arizona

Devin had his second interview for Podiatry school on the 11th in Arizona. I drove him to the airport shortly after Church on Sunday. After his flight being delayed an hour and a half, he landed in Phoenix. Mark picked him up and Devin was finally able to meet my sister-in-law Cristina and his nephews Mark and Justin and niece Brianna! Albeit, briefly. He and Mark and Cristina played some Uno attack (Mark won 5 games and Cristina said they couldn't go to bed until someone else won so Devin won the 6th game) before bed; then Devin called me. (On a side note, I will put up pictures of Molly once we get them from Cristina :) )

Bright and early the next day (he had to be there at 7:45), Devin left for his interview and I think Mark left for work. He got to tour the campus and meet some of the staff. They had all the interviewees go to a Podiatrist student body meeting and fed them pizza (this made Devin happy obviously). This time, Devin had a panel interview with other potential candidates. They asked him all kinds of weird questions like if he had an ipod, what type of movies he likes, if he were a kitchen appliance what would he be (a blender if you're wondering), as well as normal type questions.

After the interviews, the told the interviewees that they would be meeting that day and then getting back to everyone within the next 2 weeks. Devin mentioned that he has to let another school know before then, and they said to check online and that they would try and let him know ASAP.

After this, Mark picked him up and they went out to eat before Devin caught his flight back to Utah.

Karly came with me to pick Devin up from the airport, and we drove back to Provo where we took care of our recycling and drove Karly to Burger King. We drove her home and decided to check Devin's email in her apartment (due to our continuing internet shaftiness) and...

DEVIN GOT IN!

Unfortunately, AZPOD does not give scholarships to first year students. My guess is that this is because their first graduating class was in 2008, so there hasn't been time for people to pay back into the "pot." However, they only accept 30 people compared to OCPM's 120, so Devin must really be very competitive as far as incoming students go. So now the decisions process begins. We have until the 25th to let Ohio know, so we will keep you posted! Pray for us!
