The Ants Go Marching 2 by 2: An update in our epic battle against the ants

Our war against the ants has unfortunately proved to be an ongoing one. When last we left you, Devin and I were heroically battling our small foes by crushing them and wiping out their supply line.

Our attempts to lure them with poisonous traps (corn meal) were met with limited success, and we were forced to reconsider our battle plan. After some strategic research (aided by the internet), we requisitioned some non-lethal-to-feline ammunition (Orange Guard) from the local supply depot (aka Ace) and began our secondary assault.

Initial reports are that this new technique is successful. The enemy falls dead on impact and the toxin deters more of their troops from rallying to maintain their position. Unfortunately, stragglers from their army have been found wandering in new and old areas of our territory. However, we are hopeful that with continual bombardment, this campaign will culminate in the final termination of the enemy.
